Types of Liposuction

Laser-Assisted Liposuction

It uses strong laser lights on a small, flexible tube (fiber) to break down and liquefy the fat to simplify removal.

Water-Assisted Liposuction

It uses a slightly pressurized stream of saline to dislodge fat and simultaneously remove the cells.

Twin-Cannula (Assisted) Liposuction (TCAL or TCL)

t is a tube-within-a-tube method wherein the first cannula is used to disrupt the fat cells for easier suctioning while the inner cannula is used to aspirate the fat.

Treatment of Liposuction

Liposuction involves the use of a small stainless steel tube, called a cannula. The cannula is connected to a powerful suction pump and inserted into the fat through small incisions in the skin.
Fat removal is accomplished as the suction cannula creates tiny tunnels through the fatty layers. After surgery, these tiny tunnels collapse, and thus, result in an improved body contour.
