Dr. Ashok Seth is an eminent interventional cardiologist with an experience of 36 years in this field. He is renowned for performing over 50,000 angiograms and 20,000 angioplasties. He is the first cardiologist in the Asia Pacific region to perform an Angioscopy and directional Atherectomy. He is also counted among the few cardiologists in the world to perform the procedure of Percutaneous Myocardial Laser Revascularization.
He has performed one of the highest numbers of angiographies and angioplasties which has been mentioned in the ‘LIMCA Book of Records’. He has been a part of the Focused Advisory Group and seminal studies for the development and clinical applicability of Bioresorbable Scaffold (BRS) Stent, which is a highly recognized technique worldwide.
Dr. Seth has been honored with a doctorate from six prestigious national universities BHU, AMU, Jamia Millia Islamia, Amity, Shiv Nadar, and Teerthankar Mahavir University. He is the Founder/Course Director of five major National & International Angioplasty Teaching Courses – India Live, India Valves, CHIP-CTO India, AICT-Asia PCR, and the Imaging & Physiology Council of India.
He is also the Associate Director of TCT Scientific Sessions (USA) and a Program Committee Member of Euro PCR. He is the First Cardiologist from Asia to be elected to the Board of Governors of the Society of Cardiac Angiographies and Intervention (USA).
Dr. Seth has been invited to lecture at more than 450 national & international meetings and to teach complex angioplasty techniques through Live Demonstration at more than 100 national & international meetings across the world, including the prestigious TCT (Transcatheter Cardiovascular Therapeutics) in the USA, Euro PCR in Paris and Singapore Live in Singapore. He is an acclaimed teacher and has successfully trained over 500 cardiologists in India and abroad in advanced techniques of angioplasty.
