Dr. Arvinder Singh Soin directs one of the largest and most successful liver transplant programs in the world at Medanta – The Medicity. He along with his team is recognized for their 95% success rate, averaging 25-30 successful transplants a month.

His extensive experience of 35+ years includes 3500+ living donor liver transplants in India, which is the highest in the country, and the second-highest in the world. He has also executed more than 12,000 other complex liver, gallbladder, and bile duct surgeries.

Additionally, Dr. A S Soin is recognized for his pioneering research in the field of liver transplantation, and for establishing Liver Transplantation in India in 1998 when he performed the country’s first successful transplant.

He established a large liver transplant center at Sir Gangaram Hospital between 2001 and 2010. A dedicated Liver Treatment facility with 150 beds (including 36 Liver ICU beds) was also established by him and his team in June 2010 at Medanta-The Medicity. He is also responsible for training most of the liver teams in the country.
