Dr. Anant Kumar

Dr. Anant Kumar is one of the best robotic & laparoscopic surgeons. He has performed more than 1500 kidney transplants, including many re-transplant, paediatric transplants, ABO-incompatible, and high-risk transplants. He developed a urology program at Max Super Speciality Hospital, Vaishali, and a kidney transplant program in other Max group of hospitals. He introduced the latest robotic surgery in 2015, and since then, more than 1500 robotic surgeries have been performed by various departments in Max, including over 100 robotic kidney transplants.

He has published over 180 papers in renowned national and international medical journals. He has won many prestigious fellowships and had further training at Monash Medical Center, Melbourne, Cleveland Clinic Ohio, and John Hopkins, Baltimore, Newcastle upon Tyne, and Cambridge UK. He had extensive experience in renovascular hypertension. He has been doing Laser prostatectomy(HOLAP) for the last 6 years.

Being a highly-skilled and experienced robotic surgeon in Delhi, he has done several hundred endourological procedures like PCNL, URS, flexible ureteroscopy, endopyelotomy, TURP, TUBT, and optical urethrotomy. Dr. Anant Kumar has been removing the prostate gland by laser for the last 10 years and has used Thulium, green light, and Holmium laser. Presently he has been doing HOLEP by Lumenis machine. He has done all kinds of reconstructive urology of the kidney, bladder & urethra. He has been doing urethral stricture surgery for the last 30 years and has performed over 700 such cases.
